National Taco Day Is Thursday; North Dakota’s Unique Taco Recipe
Did you know there were different types of tacos? I knew there are soft and hard shell tacos but, tacos are tacos. Right? I guess I would be wrong!
Old El Paso released a survey of the most unique and best taco recipes by state and there are so many different recipe variations for tacos. I did not know people enjoyed so many different taco recipes. Some of these sound delish!
Old El Paso shared the taco stats with us and you'd be amazed!
- Last year, Americans ate over 4.5 billion tacos! That’s 490,000 miles of tacos, which could take you to the moon and back.
- Notable, creative favorites include: Deep Dish Taco Squares (Massachusetts), Chipotle Chicken Puffy Tacos (Ohio), and French Bread Taco Pizza (North Carolina)
- North Dakota's favorite taco recipe is Taco Bake.
