The Best Small-Quaint Town In North Dakota
There is something very special about growing up in a small town. Personally speaking, I was raised in the country, and not far from our farm was a very small town. And not far from our small town, was the 'hub-city', a large city that featured all of the conveniences you could think of. But, the small town had everything we could ever want or need, it was safe and kids rode their bikes and walked the railroad tracks because the town was so safe!
Mom.Me recently released a list of the best-small-quaint towns in every state.
Where could the best quaint town be located in North Dakota?
Right off the bat, I know of some of my favorite small towns in our state. For instance, Garrison, ND is a very special place! I love Main Street and it is a good walking town. And their Christmas celebration is right out of the Dickerson novel.
Medora is magical! Any time of year, Medora is another park your car and get out and walk the town, through the merchants in downtown.
I'm a motorcycle rider and I enjoy the trip to Harvey. There is not much in Harvey but the ride to the town is beautiful, not to mention, they have a Pizza Ranch!
According to Mom.Me, the best small quaint town in North Dakota is Valley City. What I did not know about Valley City, it is called the "City of Bridges," because of the 11 historic bridges around the area and represents Small Town USA- North Dakota.
