We are in the Middle of a January Thaw
We are about to embark on our 3rd straight day above 40 degrees in the Capital Region. The snow pack has really taken a hit over the last few days. The days are getting longer, and you might find yourself getting spring fever. I know I am.
Don't let the weather fool you. We no doubt will have some chilly temps and winter-like weather still yet to come. I mean, after all, according to several weather agencies, this was supposed to be a snowy and cold winter. That could still happen, as temps are expected to cool as we get into the end of January and February. Not to mention that February and March can typically be some of our snowiest periods.

Overall, it looks like a pretty average-looking spring coming our way weather-wise. Not too hot, not too cold, and not too wet, and not too dry. In the meantime, enjoy our balmy January thaw.
