Significant Spring Warm-Up is on the way.

With very little snowpack left in the Bismarck Mandan area, it won't take long for us to warm up.  Well, get ready because a major warm-up is on the way starting Saturday.  Just in time for us to spring the clocks forward an hour early Sunday morning.  Friendly reminder to move your clocks forward an hour.

Don't forget to Spring Forward!

I know that takes some time to get used to for some people (including me) but that extra hour of sunlight each day is going to feel especially good with warm weather and it's coming.

According to the National Weather Service in Bismarck temps will begin a big turnaround starting Saturday.  Albeit with significant wind, what's new in North Dakota right?

Check out these high temperatures for the next ten days after a very cold Friday.

We'll max out at 13 degrees on Friday but then flirt with 50 degrees on Saturday.  We'll cool down a bit on Sunday and Monday with highs in the low 40s.  Then we get into the really good stuff on Tuesday and the rest of the week.  57 for the high temperature on Tuesday and 50s for the rest of next week.  Here's a look again at those temps from the Weather Channel.

Say goodbye to any remaining snow after next week.  Time to start thinking about open water fishing on the river, spring snow goose hunting, hitting the golf course, and even working in the yard sounds good about now.  Yep, spring is about to take over after a pretty long winter.  Make the most of it.
