Record Breaking Daytime High Temperature Expected This Week
Amazing how our weather in North Dakota can make you scratch your head.
NWS/ Bismarck
We want a gradual melt down for the area to avoid massive flooding. With temperatures in the lower to mid 40's in the area last week, The National Weather Service says, many area are facing the possibility of record breaking high temperatures this coming week.
Thursday could be the hottest day of the week with a predicted high temperature of 55 degrees. The former record was set in 1981 for February at 57 degrees. Areas to the west of Bismarck could hit the 60 degree mark.
And with the warmer weather comes the return of the box-elder bugs.
