Wind Chill Warning for Burleigh and Morton

And we are not done with the very cold weather for the Bismarck area. The National Weather Service has issued a WIND CHILL WARNING until 1 P.M. Tuesday, December 26th.
The wind chill factors will be dangerously low and life threatening. Frostbite can occur in less than 10 minutes to exposed skin. The counties included in the warning area are Mercer-Oliver-McLean-Sheridan-Wells-Foster-Morton-Burleigh-Kidder-
Stutsman-Grant-Sioux-Emmons-Logan-La Moure-McIntosh-Dickey.
Wind chill values will be in the range of minus 25- 40 degrees.
This weather can be life threatening to humans and to livestock and pets.
A Wind Chill Warning means the combination of very cold air and the wind will create dangerously low wind chill values. Frostbite can occur quickly and even hypothermia or death if precautions are not taken.
