Hard to believe it but another school year is starting to wind down.

We are into the final week of February and it won't be long before we will be talking about graduation for the class of 2025.

Even the winter sports seasons are winding down as we have reached tournament season with the state wrestling titles just awarded and hockey is up this weekend.

This is a follow-up to my "Top 10 Best Public High Schools Ranked in North Dakota. for 2024."

Our very own Bismarck Century High School, home to the Patriots was your new number-one high school in the state.

Bismarck Century was the only Bismarck Mandan school to make the top 10.  We had a few other area schools that made it to the top 25. You can read that article here.

What data is used to rank these private high schools in the state?

Our friends at Niche rank their the top North Dakota Public and Private High Schools in the state based on reviews from students and parents, academic and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education, test scores, and college data.

Maybe you are considering a change for your son or daughter to go from a public to a private high school next year?

Some of these schools I had never even heard of.  Probably, because a few of them do not have an athletic program.  It is time to get to know them. We have several private schools in Bismarck and let's see if they are doing better than our public schools in Bismarck and Mandan.
