Get Ready BisMan – It’s Coming Back ( Hopefully Not As Bad )
When this "horror" came about out of nowhere, I seriously thought we were being invaded
Last year, around 2:30 in the morning, a mysterious metallic clang rang out, like every 10-15 seconds - woke me up from a solid sleep. Lying there listening to this unbelievably annoying sound, I couldn't tell where it was originating from. "Are we being invaded?" Crews were working around the clock down at the river.
The answer would be "NO" of course
The next day, much to my amazement, I found out what that awful noise was, where it came from. and then like everyone else in town I became annoyed: THEN it happened again months later.

The comments flooded the Bismarck People Reporting News Facebook Page
Mostly angry ones complaining about the work being done so early in the morning. Today, some more news from Morton County, North Dakota Government - a Facebook post from them lightly warning all of us that more activity is "On its way"
"Crews are working around the clock on two new river piers between Bismarck and Mandan..."
There is more to this post, and you have to wonder just how long this whole thing will take until A project is finally done.
"... We understand this overnight work is an inconvenience and impact to the community. Crews will perform quieter work overnight as much as possible, but pile driving will occur at night during certain phases"
Ok, so.....where do I go to get some earplugs? Any suggestions?
