America is desperately needing sports to return.  Yesterday I caught my son watching a "video game" between two Major League baseball players being televised on ESPN.  A member of the Minnesota Twins was playing a player from the Toronto Blue Jays in MLB "The Show".  Yep, we need sports to return to America in some capacity.

Last night NFL held their draft "virtually."  The Minnesota Vikings had two picks in the first round thanks to their trade with Buffalo earlier this year for Stefon Diggs.  One glaring hole in the Minnesota lineup was WR after losing wide out Diggs.  They addressed that concern with their first pick choosing a WR from LSU  Justin Jeffersonaccording to an article on vikings.com.  It was somewhat of surprise the LSU standout was available for the Vikings as he was expected to go higher in the draft.  The Vikings have had a habit over the years of selecting a WR's in the first round and it hasn't always worked out.  Can you say Laquon Treadwell or Troy Williamson?

The Vikings than traded back to number 31 in the first round to take cornerback Jeff Gladney from TCU to fill another major hole in the Vikings defense as they lost most of their secondary in the off season.  The Vikings gained two additional picks by moving back to 31 in the first round.  The NFL draft continues today and tomorrow on ESPN and look for the Vikings to draft lineman.
