There will be another boat parade/rally in support of former President Trump in North Dakota.

The boat parade will take place on Saturday, August 24th (tomorrow) on Lake Sakakawea starting at 12 noon.

The parade route will cover a big swath of Lake Sakakawea.

The parade is titled "2024 Freedom Boat Parade" will begin at near Alcatraz Island outside (North) of Lake Sakakawea State Park Marina. Supporters are asked to meet at 11 am with the parade beginning at 12 noon following the National Anthem.

From Lake Sakakawea State Park Marina, they will head south towards Garrison Dam, turning east-navigating along the Garrison Dam.  Paradegoers are reminded that it's the salmon fishing season and to maintain a safe distance from other boaters and anglers.

Then the parade will turn north by the spillway gates and pass the Riverdale Bluffs.  Continuing on, it will navigate east between Wolf Creek Campground to the south, and Mallard Island to the north.

Once past the island and campground, they will head north towards the Highway 83/Audubon embankment.

When they reach the north end of the embankment (near Snake Creek pumping station), they will turn west and navigate back towards Fort Stevenson State Park.

You are asked to remain at idle speed for all watercraft.  Larger vessels up front.

The best place to watch for supporters who will not be participating in the boat parade?

One of the best places to watch is from the overlook on the east end of Garrison Dam or the pumping station parking lot near Totten Trail.

The Parade Grand Marshals will be Governor-elect Kelly Armstrong.
