Once again, the CP Holiday Train will come dashing through North Dakota in 2024.

You might remember, that the CP Holiday train was greatly missed after taking a couple of years off due to the COVID-19 pandemic back in 20 and 21. The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train returned in 2023 and will make its annual voyage across North Dakota again this year.

Not only will the train emit beautiful beams of Christmas lights, but it will make stops along the way in North Dakota for a concert performance.

The Holiday Train is more than just a light show and concert.

They also collect food donations for the local food banks. This year, the Canadian Holiday Train will be supporting online donations through Food Banks Canada.

You can also bring a donation for your local food pantry.  They include Carrington Daily Bread in Carrington, North Dakota, the Central Dakota Food Pantry in Harvey, North Dakota, the Minot Area Homeless Shelter Coalition in Minot, North Dakota, and the Kenmare Food Pantry in Kenmare, North Dakota.

Since 1999, the Candian Pacific Holiday Train has raised more than $21 million and 5 million pounds of food for North American food banks. All donations raised at a Holiday Train stop remain in that community.

All concerts are FREE but the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train asks you to bring an item for the local food bank.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
