According to KFYR TV, a pedestrian is dead following an incident involving a train. According to the article (BPD), Bismarck Police Department was called to the scene at 5:45 P.M. on Friday, May 20, 2022. This is really sad that someone lost their life. At the time of writing this article the name of the deceased individual has not been released. The article stated that the incident occurred on West Main Street in Bismarck, ND.

The story stated that all train traffic through Bismarck, ND had stopped until the investigation had been completed. The local area had seen pedestrian train deaths a few times before so how do we stop this from happening in the future. It's always really sad when hearing that someone died. Would putting a fence up along the railroad track stop this from happening? Do you have any suggestions as to how to stop train pedestrian deaths in the future?
