March Madness

March Madness took on a whole new meaning as much of southern North Dakota was hit with a blanket of snow on Saturday, March 15th, that lingered into the early hours of Sunday. Overall, it looks like the meteorologists got it mostly right this time around, as far as snowfall totals and which areas of the state were hit. It was definitely a "southern thing" this time around, as the majority of the snowfall that fell was from the I-94 corridor and points south.

Is it Worth Shoveling?

I, for one, will not be shoveling this snow. I have a strict "no-shovel" policy in March. Have you seen the extended forecast? We have a lot of 50s and 60s coming our way towards the end of the week. No need to shovel this mess. It's going to melt, although we do have a chance for another sloppy snow event this Tuesday.
