Rainfall Totals: Southern North Dakota Soaks Up The Moisture
Southern North Dakota has been racking up the moisture the last couple of months.
Especially the counties of Grant, Emmons, and Sioux Counties. These areas have seen several drenching rains over the last couple of months.
That was the same story again on Wednesday, June 25th, as thunderstorms and showers brought some beneficial soaking rains for these counties.
My mother always told me growing up, if it rains before 7 am, it will be done by 11 am in the summertime. Probably something her father told her growing up, but I have found it to be true most of my life.
This was primarily a morning rain event for us in south-central and southwest North Dakota.
Today, (Thursday, June 26th) looks like a day for us to dry out before we have more chances for showers and thunderstorms on Friday. Some of those storms could be severe.
