BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Some North Dakota lawmakers believe noon is too late to begin buying booze on Sunday.

The bipartisan measure would allow alcohol sales on Sundays to begin at 11 a.m. instead of noon.

The House already has endorsed the Legislation. The Senate is slated to take testimony on the bill Tuesday.

Supporters say North Dakota's restrictions put cities bordering other states at a disadvantage because those states allow for earlier booze sales on Sundays.
