If you are looking for FREE family fun to kick-off the month between Thanksgiving and Christmas, you can come to Peace Park in Bismarck for The Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Mingle this Saturday night!

After we wrap up the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, the Capital City will really be getting into the whole Christmas spirit. This weekend, Bismarck, Mandan and communities beyond are invited to partake in a magical holiday celebration - the Tree Lighting Ceremony at Peace Park in Bismarck.

WHAT: Capital City Christmas - The Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Mingle

WHEN: Saturday, November 28, 2020
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

WHERE: The Tree Lighting Ceremony AND Holiday Mingle* - Peace Park
400 E Front Ave, Bismarck

*Due to COVID-19, the Holiday Mingle will be held onsite with holiday treats and drinks this year.

This Saturday's event will be my first Capital City Tree Lighting Ceremony, and I have to say that I am excited to be able to attend. Especially because an event like this will be a positive and magical standout moment from the year of this depressing pandemic. And, seriously, if this display is even half as good as some of the holiday lights I have seen on homes in Bismarck-Mandan, the whole event will be a pretty incredible site.

If you are coming out for this FREE family fun event, bring your loved ones (and remember the rules of safe social distancing). You can RSVP to the Capital City Christmas - The Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Mingle on the event's Facebook page.
