Just two days ago I wrote this...

Running a restaurant business is one of the toughest, most demanding, and risky professions there are. I worked in one for about 12 years, and I have the utmost respect for anyone who deals with the public. In the last 4 years alone here in Bismarck and Mandan, restaurants that had been so consistent in the past, were hit hard by COVID. The businesses that survived through that then had to deal with the almost sudden decline of employees not showing up, or showing no desire to work at all.

Think about what kind of pressures an owner must experience almost every day

What I talked about just a few sentences ago, I'm taking an easy guess that an owner of a restaurant is more than likely at his or her business EVERY day - even when their doors are shut. It was about two years ago that I Heart Mac & Cheese opened over at 4521 Ottawa St - On their Facebook page a delicious description sounds inviting - "From Signature Mac & Cheese bowls, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, to customizing anything on the menu, I Heart Mac and Cheese lets you get your cheese on however you want"  - Yesterday the owner Jesse Vetter had this to say:

"Time for me to move on from the restaurant world. That being said BOTH Pita Pit and I Heart Mac & Cheese are for sale. Serious inquiries only. Please PM me"

This morning - the 18th of January, it warms MY Heart that Jesse posted an update: "Update: NOT For Sale!"

UPDATE

I talked to him for a couple of minutes on the phone, All he could tell me right now is this:

"Good Things Are On The Horizon!"

Sometimes you just have to sit back and reflect on what you want in life. We are all human and we are all allowed to change our minds, and "recharge our batteries".
