Mandan – Pool + Darts + Chili = Fun Time For All Thanks To ABATE

Always keep your eyes open for a flying dart...

...because you never know who is behind the errant sharp miniature missile. How much fun does this sound - a day of shooting pool, tasting chili, and attempting to throw a bullseye? Our friends from ABATE of North Dakota are putting on this glorious event - the date is Saturday, February 24th at Powerhouse Bar & Grill/ 501 Bar & Grill - 501 Burlington St SE -  ABATE Tips & Balls Tournament and Chili Cook-off - from 11:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Now for a quick tease...

Do you have a secret chili recipe? One that you have had for years and everyone seems to want to know what it is? Here is a chance to blow some people away with your cook-off ability and maybe WIN the People's Choice Award. Do you think you make the best Chili in town? Enter our Cook-off to find out. Entry is $10. Bring a crock pot of your best Chili to PowerHouse Bar & Grill between 11 am and Noon. We invite everyone to be Chili tasters for just $5 for a sample of all entries. The Chili with the most votes will receive a People’s Choice Award and cash. Everyone is welcome, you do not need to be an ABATE member to taste Chili!

While you are there, why not just clobber everyone around in Pool and Darts?

Savoring your bowl of chili, while getting your pool stick ready, making SURE you don't back into a dart. You can ALSO win some prizes and the part I like the most about this is, that "Everyone is welcome to participate" - but if you are good enough, 1st and 2nd place plaques are open to win and Cash pay-outs.

One thing you need to know, you must be 21 years of age to enter this awesome place and event.
