For years you watched this intriguing television character on the hit show "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."

I remember like it was yesterday when this show first came out - an aerial view of Las Vegas with the classic hit song from the band The Who - "Who Are You" blasting away. According to nickiswift.com "...one of the most popular characters to be featured on the show was Warrick Brown, played by actor Gary Dourdan. For nine seasons Gary brought to the screen his likable presence, and then we found out that he would be leaving the show.

Was the actor's personal life the main reason why his character was written off from the show?

Back in 2008, Dourdan found himself in trouble with the law - April 29, 200 today.com reported  “CSI” star Gary Dourdan was arrested Monday for possession of narcotics and dangerous drugs, police said. The 41-year-old actor was found asleep in his car by the Palm Springs Police Department, authorities said. Upon searching the vehicle, the officer “subsequently located suspected cocaine, heroin, Ecstasy, miscellaneous prescription drugs and paraphernalia.” This was not the reason WHY Dourdan left the show, insiders said his contract was expired, and was not renewed.
