How Do You Help Your Neighbor Out?

Do you do anything to help your neighbors out? It seems like the days of helping each others neighbors out is a thing in the past. Not? Years ago people used to always help their neighbors out in the Bismarck-Mandan area. This really came as a shock to me when I see people only mowing their half of the boulevard and instead of taking an extra three to five minutes to mow their neighbors. It really doesn't take that much longer to mow the neighbors half.

I remember growing up that we always used to snowblow the neighbors places just because it was the right thing to do and I kind of miss those days. Helping the neighbors out could be as easy as making cookies and making a few extras and going over and dropping the extras off at the neighbors. It really doesn't take much extra time and they will really respect you for that.

Some people in today's society think just because you help someone out that they should help you out back in return and that's not always the case. A person should just do it out of a good heart. Do you ever help your neighbors out and if so what do you do to help them? Do you mow your neighbors half of the boulevard? Do you make extra food for the neighbors? Do you remember when more people helped their neighbors out? I hope that one day we go back to the old ways of helping our neighbors out.
