EXTREME HEAT TODAY- THE HEAT WILL BE AROUND
EXCESSIVE HEAT ADVISORY TODAY! The summer will not take it's grip off of North Dakota. The temperatures will stick around for at least 4-5 days.
The National Weather Service is also indicating that because of the hot weather and the unstable air mass, there is a good threat for relief in the form of thunderstorms and some of the afternoon storms could be severe. Most area farmers are feeling the effects of a long hot August with the row crops in need of moisture.
Take all of the necessary precautions. Take plenty of breaks and stay hydrated while outside. Make sure that animals have fresh water and plenty of shade and check on the elderly.
