A FREE public splash park is coming your way, and Mandan Parks and Recreation is seeking public input on where to build this new summer fun spot in the city. They have narrowed it down to six different locations in Mandan, and here's a look at those spots.

Details of the Splash Pad
It will be textured, with slip-resistant surfaces, designed to drain quickly, so you will have little or no standing water to keep kids safe. Best of all, this is something FREE for the entire community. This is the perfect summer cool-down spot designed for toddlers, kids, parents, grandparents, and families alike.
The Bismarck Splash Pad
The city of Bismarck has just one dedicated FREE public splash pad in Bismarck, located at New Generations Park, though additional spray features and aquatic pads are present at other local pools, but not normally free.

A public pool or splash pad would be a welcome addition in my adopted home town of Lincoln, North Dakota. I'm sure I have several thousand people who would agree with me. It just seems like the summers are getting hotter and hotter. Enjoy Mandan, I'm sure this will be a welcome addition to your community.
