Could Miss North Dakota Be The Favorite To Win Miss America?

The city of Bismarck, North Dakota has already produced one Miss America.

I'm speaking of course of Cara Mund who won the Miss America Pagent back in September of 2017 in Atlantic City and became the first contestant from the state of North Dakota to win the competition.

I was lucky enough to meet this lovely lady at our studios a few years back and even without a drop of makeup on, she was stunning.  Not to mention her bubbling personality was infectious.  I could easily see why the judges were so infatuated with this NoDak beauty.

This year's 2024 Miss America Pageant is scheduled for January 14th.

I was working out at the gym the other day when one of my friends asked what I did for New Year's Eve.  After telling him about my exciting evening of being bored to death watching the Vikings at home, he told me he went to a get-together that had our current Miss North Dakota and Miss America hopeful Sydney Helgeson from Bismarck in attendance.

What's even more ironic, is that I ran into the same friend today at the gym and he told me Sydney was there working out, so he introduced me to her.  I hope to get her on the air with me to talk about her Miss America experience after the pageant is done.

I can see why Sydney is garnering such attention.  She's a natural North Dakota beauty.

Just who exactly is Sydney Helgeson?

She's from Bismarck, North Dakota, and is a 2023 graduate of the University of Alabama.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in commerce and business.  Majors in management and entrepreneurship.  Minors in music and sales.  Sydney is a graduate of Bismarck High School.

We wish her all the best and bring back the crown back to North Dakota.
