Carrie Underwood is a proud soccer mom — even if her adorable son's not quite sure which way to kick the ball.

The country superstar turned to Instagram on Saturday (Oct. 20) to post a selfie that she snapped outside on a chilly-looking fall day, writing, "Officially a soccer mom this morning!"

She says "the kids played a good game," but her 3-year-old son, Isaiah, might need a little bit of coaching with directions.

Here's What to Expect Now That Carrie Underwood Is Expecting

"Isaiah scored two goals for his team...and one for the other team," Underwood writes, adding, "Hey, a goal’s a goal!"

Underwood recently released a new album, Cry Pretty, and though she's been making a few promotional TV appearances, she's mostly on a break from work as she prepares for the upcoming birth of her second child with her husband, former Nashville Predators player Mike Fisher. She announced her pregnancy in an online video on Aug. 8, at the same time that she announced the cities and dates for her upcoming 2019 Cry Pretty Tour 360. She'll be hitting the road in May accompanied not only by Isaiah, but with her newborn in tow.

"It's going to be a different ball game, for sure," she tells the Tennessean. "My brain, I'm such a planner. I want to know how it's all going to go. But no matter who you are, you make it happen, you make it work, you get your team behind you."

She thinks Isaiah is going to be a good assistant.

"I think he'll be a really good big brother," she says. "I think he'll be helpful."
