Grow Your Green Thumb: 5 Reasons to Visit Bismarck’s Garden Expo

Spring is finally here in the Bismarck-Mandan area.

We just enjoyed one of the most beautiful spring weekends I can remember. Not only were temperatures in the mid to upper 60s, but the wind was nonexistent, which is not normal on most North Dakota spring days.

The beautiful weekend even gave me a chance to break out my zero-turn riding lawnmower to make sure it's ready for another year. That got me looking forward to spring and summer, and all we can do to make our homes and yards a seasonal paradise.

This year's Dakota Garden Expo in Bismarck is this Friday, April 17th, and Saturday, April 18th, at the Bismarck Event Center (Exhibit Hall).

Showtimes are Friday from 3 to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 to 4 pm.  There are a plethora of reasons why you should think about attending this year's expo, but I thought I would narrow it down to 5 BIG reasons this year is a "can't miss."
