According to a recent email from NDSU the school plans to start on the new practice facility for the NDSU Bison. The practice facility will replace the current bubble on Dacotah Field. According to the email the indoor facility costs $37.2 million and was privately funded. Nodak Mutual Insurance company will get their name on the building and donated a lot of money to this project.

The email states that ground breaking for the 117,000 square feet building will began this summer possibly in July 2021. This facility will include two turfs one inside and one outside. The facility will also include capacity for women's soccer, men's and women's track and field programs, and other programs that might be affected by ND weather.

According to the email the turf will be 120 yards long, 60 yards wide, and 72 feet to the peak. This is a state of the art facility and will include retrackable nets for other programs to use, locker rooms, a weight room, a viewing area, a fueling station and camera decks on all sides. The facility will also have score boards on both the indoor and outdoor fields. This is going to be an awesome place for the teams to practice. They will have 7 overhead doors to make it easy to transition to either field.

This is wonderful that they were able to make this happen. It's going to be wonderful to see what it looks like when it's all done and when the teams will be able to finally practice there.
