In an EPIC match-up, the Dakotas have waited and battled for years to meet at the coveted NCAA Division I FCS championship. After 10 appearances in 12 years, North Dakota State University Bison were able to play their Dakota Marker rival South Dakota State University in Frisco, Texas on Sunday, January 8th, 2023. The first national championship title in the SDSU Jackrabbits' history was made.No. 1-seeded South Dakota State Jackrabbits took home the championship title win against the North Dakota State Bison in a 45 - 21 victory.

Being we are "The Dakotas" this will be lots of fun for fans across the area. Fans able to escape the snow and cold, are now in Frisco, Texas for the NCAA Division I FCS Championship Game going today - Sunday, January 8, 2023, kicking off at 1 pm CST.

The roster for both the Bison and the Jackrabbits holds lots of players for the three states, which paired with a lot of alumni, makes this an epic game to that will go down in the history books.
