Dry and windy conditions present a fire danger for the area through Wednesday (4/6) evening. Winds gusting up to 45 mph are expected this evening and over night into Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a WIND ADVISORY for the area including the counties of

  • Burleigh
  • Kidder
  • Dunn
  • Mercer
  • Morton
  • Grant
  • Sioux
  • Logan
  • McIntosh
  • Emmons
  • Oliver

 

The wind advisory will go into effect at 7 PM (CST) through 3AM Wednesday. High profile vehicles area advised to drive with caution in open areas and residents are advised to secure loose items in and around their property.

Expect higher wind gusts in the Southwestern area of the state into Montana. Winds in those areas can exceed 55 mph.
