This posting is a little therapeutic and a little "get it off my chest". Of course, it's common knowledge that Lar Dawg is new to the area. I am some what settled and now I am starting to establish the relationships that a new person has to do in a new community. I now have a new doctor. She is great! I was really sad to leave my former doctor in Minnesota. She was very good and very in tune to me and my lifestyle and who I am. This new doctor is OK, let's give it time! (on a side note, for what it's worth, women are taking over the world, I have not seen a male doctor, like forever)

I am feeling a bit "giddy" to ride my Yamaha R1, crotch rocket. The weather should turn warmer and into the 50's this week. This means, it's time to RIDE baby RIDE!

If you are a car person, tractor person or hot rod type of enthusiast and you are from the area or have been in the area for sometime now, you have already established these contacts and you know with out hesitation where to take your baby! I am at the point in my tenure with the Bismarck-Mandan area that these establishments are new to me! Who do I trust? Where should I bring my R1 that I love so much! And you know the song and dance, if you know nothing about what needs to be done to your bike or boat, or what ever, you could be taken advantage of. This is what I am trying to avoid!

I have faith in the place where I brought my R1. For starters, they recognized me from the radio station and hosting the Grits and Glamour Show this past weekend. One of the sales guys working the floor asked me. Weren't you on stage for Lorrie Morgan? With my now swollen head, I replied YES!  Then I explained the situation with my R1 and we went from there. I have to say, I was a bit trepidations, only because, I have never been to this service department before.  This did put my mind at ease. After all, the guy knows me from the radio, RIGHT?  My only hope that this "fix" is not an arm and or a leg, of which I need both to ride my R1.
