We Fest 2021 Recap

Many people love going to outdoor festivals in the summer months and one of the most popular festivals is We Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Thousands of people from all over the country flock there to listen to live music.

Camping They have some of the best camping around and it's always a blast. They have a bunch of campgrounds they include; Lake Sallie, Viking, Blue Ox, Northwoods, Oatfield, and VIP. The camping is an experience that most people love. People love to drink and hangout with their friends and play yard games in the campgrounds.

Entertainment This year they had a wonderful lineup that was really amazing. They had the following artists; Maddie & Tae, Blake Shelton, Ingrid Andress, Russell Dickerson, Cadillac Three, Florida Georgia Line, Eli Young Band, Raelynn, Lanco, Lindsey Ell, High Valley, Dierks Bentley. After Dierks Bentley's show Dierks and his band did the Hot Country Knights act. The show was emceed by Kellie Pickler. Other performers include; After Midtown, Shy Carter, Kameron Marlowe, Shane Martin, Trip Wire, Slamabama, 32 Below, and Erin Grand

Friends Many people go to We Fest for the chance to hang out with friends of theirs. Some people go there just for that reason and there are many others that only get to see their friends once a year at We Fest.

Upcoming Acts We Fest headliners for next year will consist of Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, and Miranda Lambert. That's a wonderful lineup to start and many more acts will be added.

Security Everyone that goes into the bowl of We Fest has to go through a metal detector screening before they are allowed in. Bags are checked at the gate and gone through. There is security all over which makes it safe for all the concert goers.

Upcoming Next year in 2022 they are going to be adding a pit area. There was a lot of talk about how excited people are for the show next year. The pit area always the artist and concert goer to get a little closer. They will also be adding a catwalk in the artists can go out closer to the crowd.
