Update On Bismarck’s Southridge Centre & What’s Going In

Bismarck's Southridge Centre has a reputation as one of the nicest shopping centers in the area.

The last time I wrote about the Southridge Centre in south Bismarck it was in the middle of a complete facelift.  It had also recently lost one of its main tenants Barnes & Noble.

Since then, a lot has happened to the popular shopping destination.  The renovation of the strip mall is nearing completion.

Sanford will be going into the old Barnes & Noble building.

Reportedly the lease and contract have been signed for that building.  More renovations will be needed before Sanford is ready to move into their new home.  Sanford has reportedly signed a 10-year lease.  There have been some rumors circulating that Sanford backed out of their lease but reportedly they have been paying on their lease.

In addition to Sanford's renovations, the digital reader board needs to be turned on for Southridge Center, and some landscaping, before the parking lot gets resurfaced.

There are currently two spots open in the strip mall that has lease signs in them.

Those two vacancies are the former HR Block and the former Dakota Chappy.

Southridge Centre is a very bright, modern, and safe shopping destination in my opinion.  Their current tenants include Rainbow Shop Parable Christian Store, Chatime, Pineapple Nails & Spa, Hollevoet & Welk Orthodontics, Lifestyle Chiropractic, Nation Wide Vision, AT&T, Which Which, The UPS Store, Hair Concepts, One Main Financial, Midco, and Direct Travel.
