Years and YEARS ago I used to go roller skating every Saturday morning in San Diego...

...heck I even taught myself to catch the city bus to get to the rink, I was twelve. I still remember gliding ( mostly FALLING down many times ), but the fun part is still ingrained in me. I attempted to ice skate a few times but the signals from my brain to my body mechanics said "Ain't NO WAY are you EVER going to learn how to do this"

This is a perfect opportunity for any age to lace up a pair of roller skates and have some fun

As soon as I saw the picture ( on the cover of this article ) a flood of memories hit me. The Bismarck Parks and Recreation District is encouraging ALL to come out and enjoy roller skating or blading.

The public is invited to enjoy roller skating indoors at Capital Ice Complex, 1504 Wichita Drive starting next week! Participants can bring their own roller skates or roller blades or rent a pair of roller skates at the facility.

Imagine the fun of bringing your whole family out to the complex - a perfect birthday party for your children OR your significant other. How about this for a first date? I mean you might as well get used to each other falling down from time to time AND picking EACH other up...isn't that what life is all about?
