The USAF Thunderbirds Will Soar over North Dakota in 2018

Everyone loves the Thunderbirds, an aerobatic leg of the United States Air Force. The famous planes will fly over Minot in 2018.

The Minot Air Force Base issued a press release late last week announcing that the Thunderbirds would be part of the Northern Neighbors Day Air Show on Aug. 4, 2018.

There is no typo there. We are indeed talking about an event that is about a year and a half away but it does give us something to look forward to.

The Minot Air Force Base hosted an airshow in 2016 as well and it was their first airshow since 2009.

Of course other performances will accompany the one put on by the Thunderbirds.
