SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH for Bismarck and Surrounding Area Until Midnight

Unstable air continues to build over the region as the National Weather Service has issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH for Bismarck.

The watch area includes  McKenzie, Burleigh, Grant, Morton, Sioux, Emmons, Logan and McIntosh Counties and the cities of Bismarck, Elgin, Mandan, Fort Yates, Lincoln and Linton.

Heavy rain, hail and dangerous lighting can be expected in the watch area.
