Is it just me, or has it been a little too hot lately? I don't remember the last time I saw a day below 88-degrees. I am not meaning to complain about the weather (because I KNOW what the weather could be like), but I am definitely looking forward to fall - my favorite season! I'm excited to tell you that fall weather could be here very soon.

According to the National Weather Service, the days will start to be cooler this week! Now, don't expect that today will be very comfortable as it is supposed to be 94-degrees AND we're supposed to get some storms this afternoon. But, the National Weather Service report says that temperatures will cool down to the 70s and 80s by the end of the week. Then, it will be even cooler next week!

I could only find a seven-day forecast from the National Weather Service, but Weather.com had a 10-day forecast. According to Weather.com, we should be expecting low-to-mid-70s all next week. I love that we'll get a little relief from the heat. But we do live in North Dakota, so we could very well experience desert-like heat or tundra-like winter the week after next. Only time will tell if summer 2020 is truly behind us.

But before we get to the cooler weather, it looks like we could get some stormy days. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook due to potential storms in the next few days. Burleigh and Morton Counties are included in the outlook. Check it out here.

Are you excited for cooler weather?
