I know they say you can't take it with you, but it sure is nice to have it while you're here on this earth. I'm of course talking about money.  People steal for it.  People fight for it.  People die for it.  Which, of course, is pretty senseless, since I've never seen a hearse pulling a trailer before, but money certainly makes this world a lot easier.

This Town Farts $100 Bills

This town has been identified by Go Banking Rates as the RICHEST small town in all of North Dakota for the THIRD year in a row (2023, 2024 & 2025).  This small community is actually no longer so small.  It's practically become a suburb of the cities of Fargo and West Fargo as both those communities continue to grow south.  Plenty of new construction is going into this town.

This small town is none other than Horace, North Dakota, and has a median income of $145,801.

That's up over $7,000 dollars from last year.

Go Banking Rates analyzed data from the United States Census Bureau income data in locations in every state with 500 to 15,000 households to determine the richest small towns in each state.

Horace, North Dakota's population is exploding and is now at 7,804 as of 2025, and is the 11th biggest city in North Dakota.  It's a city that has been growing over the last several years and is up another 10% percent from last year.  The high school is even playing Class A in some sports.

Small town living with plenty of cash. It won't be long, and Horace won't even be considered a "small town" anymore.
