North Dakota High School Investigated For Revenge Porn
Here's a phrase that wasn't around back when I went to school..."revenge porn".
Kids at school today face many challenges compared to those of the past. Yes, there's still bullying, but now they have to face it not only in person but also online. Thanks to technological advances are children are more susceptible than ever before to peer pressure, bullying, and danger. Speaking of which. One North Dakota high school was being investigated this past week for revenge porn.
In case you are not familiar with the term "revenge porn," here's what it is.
The definition from Wikipedia is pretty simple. "The distribution of sexually explicit images or videos of individuals without their consent, the intention to create public humiliation or character assassination out of revenge against the victim."
One North Dakota High School is in the spotlight for this disgusting act.
According to an article from KVRR-TV, this past week, Fargo Davies High School in Fargo, North Dakota, received a visit from the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

They executed a search warrant at Davies High School targeting numerous students who allegedly were creating and distributing sexually explicit materials. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation says the students were using Snapchat to distribute the material. The ages of the victim or victims are not known at this time.
Apparently, this sort of sexual exploitation is on the rise all across the country. It's a trend you never want your child to go through. Talk with your children now about the dangers.
According to the article, North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley said the investigation will be conducted by the Cass County State's office, and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation will continue to assist.
