Paula Dean FIRED Y’all!

I'm from The South and I have to admit, I have never been a huge fan of Paula Dean. I find that she is fake, her accent is fake, and I just had a feeling in my gut that most of her on camera persona was fake!

It was released this morning that the Food Network has fired Paula Dean. He contract will not be renewed. She canceled her appearance with the Today show at the last minute on Friday. She video taped an apology for making a racial slur. (the N word)  Then, Paula took to You Tube to make an apology, but the first video was yanked because it seemed  insincere, what follows is the second You Tube Video apology.

Bottom line is, when you work in the public eye, you are held at a higher standard and in the age of camera phones and You Tube, Twitter and so on, what you do or say is public record, even more so if you work in the public eye.

Paula, it's too late! What's done is done. Admit it and move on, but don't try to cover it up or act like it never happen. I have lost the little respect I had for Paula Dean.

Her fans have bombarded the Food Network with e mails and support for Dean,Y'all!

Now Paula, get in that kitchen and fry me up some chicken!
