Small town charm...There's nothing quite like it.

From small town churches, cafes, bars, and even gas stations all have a different feel to them than they do in our bigger North Dakota cities. Do you know what I mean? Life is just a little bit slower. This can be very endearing to a lot of people, including me. Charming if you will.

I don't think there is a whole lot of debate that the service you receive at these types of establishments in small towns is usually pretty good. North Dakota "nice" is generally a given in any size city in the state, but especially in "Small Town USA".

This is definitely one of the reasons why I am a "lifer" in this state.

I really don't see myself ever living in any other place, no matter how much money is thrown at me. Our Rough Rider State roots run deep in my family, and we truly love living in North Dakota.

North Dakota's choice comes from probably one of our most beloved small towns in the state. It is also nestled inside our oldest hotel.
