New Retail Store In North Dakota Has It’s Sights On Bismarck

A popular retail and online store has its sights on another North Dakota city.

According to my local sources, this company is looking to set up shop in north Bismarck.  Maybe even Hay Creek Shops.  Before you scoff, because this is not a done deal, keep in mind I'm the same guy who reported that IHOP is coming to Bismarck, Mills Fleet Farm, and several other businesses over the course of the last year before other local media outlets.

This new retail store started out as an online store only before adding brick-and-mortar shops.

They currently have a new store in North Dakota already in Grand Forks, and it appears they now want in the Capital City. 

The store in Grand Forks opened in early 2023.

They're famous for their extensive outdoor clothing line, including snowmobile suits, cold weather bibs, hunting clothes, warm weather clothing, hiking boots, cycling gear, sporting goods, and a lot more.

The new retail store that I believe will be coming to Bismarck in 2024 is Sierra.

Sierra, formerly known as Sierra Trading Post.  As I mentioned earlier, Sierra Trading Post started out as an online store.  According to Wikipedia, they were purchased by the TJX Companies back in 2018, and they are the current owners.

Sierra sells merchandise through 78 retail stores and their company website.  It has products from approximately 3,000 name-brand manufacturers.

We certainly have plenty of outdoor enthusiasts in the Bismarck Mandan area, and I believe Sierra will go over well in the Capitol Region.
