Get ready to pitch a tent.  Yet another sign things are starting to go back to normal.  The Morton County Park Board voted to open Morton County Parks to overnight camping starting Today, May 1st, 2020.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 the following restrictions will be in place.  Only one camper per pad will be allowed.  In fact "group pads" will be closed for use until further notice.  Playground equipment will also be closed.  You can't make reservations for shelter rental either.  All vault toilets will be closed with the following exceptions.  Fort Rice Recreation Area, the vault toilet adjacent to the fish cleaning station.  Graner Park, the vault toilet adjacent to Shelter #1.  Harmon Lake Recreation Area, the vault toilet adjacent to the boat ramp.

It's expected to be a beautiful weekend in the Bismarck Mandan area and the fish are starting to bite. Get the family out of the house and make some memories in "Legendary" North Dakota.  Explore beautiful Morton County and all it has to offer for campers, fisherman, bird watchers and outdoor enthusiasts.  Fort Abraham State Park is defiantly in my family sites.
