Morgan Wallen Left North Dakota With Snow In His Boots
Morgan Wallen Rocks North Dakota.
Morgan Wallen just put on a show at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota this past Saturday night. It was an electrifying show with more than 20,000 people in attendance. Morgan Wallen drove away from Grand Forks with more than sand in his boots! He probably had a little snow in those boots too. Wallen officially enters the Alerus Center record books as number 1 in ticket revenue and number 3 in attendance.
Winter made just getting to the show difficult.
Just getting to the show was a struggle, as snow and blowing snow caused slippery conditions on Interstate 29, that even resulted in a multi-vehicle accident. Hotel rooms were very scarce as rooms going for as much as a thousand dollars a night were being sold. To make matters worse, the University of North Dakota hockey team was playing a home playoff series against Colorado College, which added to even fewer hotel rooms available this past weekend.
Traffic was absolutely nuts in Grand Forks.
Hotels, bars, and restaurants were filled to the brim Saturday afternoon as people were planning for their big night out. Either going to the UND hockey or the Morgan Wallen show.
US 103-3 managed to get tickets to give away to our listeners, and one of them was kind enough to send us some incredible shots we thought we would share with you. All of our listeners got seats in the pit and were up close and personal to Morgan Wallen. The comments we heard the most were how "energetic" the show was. "Morgan goes all out when he performs", said another winner of ours. "I didn't want the show to end", said another one of our listeners.
One thing for sure, if you were there, I bet you'll be talking about the Morgan Wallen show for a long time. Enjoy the photos.
