North Dakota loves its country music.

Don't believe me?  The biggest concert in North Dakota in 2021 without a doubt was Luke Combs, who played the Alerus Center in Grand Forks.  Over 21,000 people jam-packed that arena back on Friday, September 17th.  The show caused traffic jams all over the city of 50,000 people.  Lines of cars were backed up onto the interstate for miles.  That was last year.

Get ready for the next biggest show to hit North Dakota.

Morgan Wallen will be at the same venue, the Alerus Center on Saturday, March 12th.  Tickets are very scarce and so are hotel rooms.  Concert goers may have to stay overnight at other towns like Crookston, Minnesota, Grafton, Hillsboro, or even Fargo.  Your best option if you are lucky enough to have tickets and no hotel would be to crash at a friend's house in Grand Forks.

Morgan Wallen is "red hot" once again and his song "Sand in My Boots" just peaked at number one on the Mediabase Country Charts this past week.  This comes after a tumultuous 2020 that saw Morgan Wallen's music banned from airplay on many radio stations across the country because of a video where he was seen using a racial slur.  It would appear that Morgan's ban has ended with his recent number one hit.
