Our wet spring has continued into the early summer so far.

Much of the state saw a 1/4 of an inch to nearly 2 inches of rain. Severe thunderstorms developed over western North Dakota Monday afternoon and continued to move across the state dropping heavy rain, especially if you got under the right thunderstorm. Parts of south-central, and especially northeast North Dakota saw the heaviest rain.

Much of the country has been seeing scorching temperatures so far this summer but "hot" days have been few and far between so far in North Dakota.

It appears the remainder of the week and your 4th of July holiday will also bring average to slightly below average temperatures and more chances of rain.  Especially Wednesday afternoon, and Thursday on the 4th. This could dampen your fireworks activities.
