Man Tries to Sell Human Brains on E Bay, Yes, Human Brains and Yes He’s Arrested.
You can't make this up. So this morning while searching on line I ran across a story, rather macabre but never the less, a true story. Here we go.
According to the story from CNN.COM the genius, David Charles allegedly stole about 60 jars of brain in October from a museum in Indiana, according to the County prosecutor's office that filed court papers Thursday. Here's where it gets weird, documents said some jars were sold on the auction site eBay by a middleman, even though E Bay has a policy against selling such human items. My skin crawls as I write and think about this story. What do people do with human brains in a jar? What kind of person buys brains in a jar? What kind of person sells brains in a jar?

In the weird world of buying and selling things on E Bay, first, it's a felony to sell any type of human remains and E Bay has a long list of forbidden items that can not be sold on eBay, including skulls, skeletons, Tibetan prayer skulls, organs, bones, blood, waste products, body fluids and sperm.
According to arrest records David Charles, from here on in, we'll refer to him as the man with no brains, is accused of breaking into the museum and taking jars of brains and tissue from autopsies performed on patients in the 1890s. He is out on bond until his court hearing.
Now You know! Is this just the weirdest thing you read all weekend?
