This is something you might want to plan for in advance. According to Parade.com, 12 North Dakota retailers will be closing their doors for one day next month.

Why The Closure

If you're wondering why these stores will all be closing on the same day, well, that's because we have a holiday coming up.

Easter will be here before you know it, on Sunday, April 5th. Most of us plan to spend the holiday by going to church, hunting eggs in our yards, and having a family dinner. Shopping isn't usually on the Easter to-do list, but if, for some reason, you need to do a little running around, keep in mind that these stores will be closed, according to Parade.com.

There you have it, those stores have historically closed on past Easter holidays, and will likely also close this year (2026).

The source actually named several other stores, but we just listed those that are most familiar.

Last Minute Running

If there's something you desperately need on the holiday, I do believe Walmart will be open on Easter, so you can stop in and get whatever emergency item you need.

Do you know of any other stores that will be closing this Easter Sunday? Shoot us a message in the app and let us know.

Speaking of stores, it wouldn't hurt to have a little extra cash, would it? We have your chance to win cash with the $1000 Deposit. Use your winnings on a massive grocery haul, or save it as gas money -with the prices continuing to go up, it would definitely help to have that for your next North Dakota road trip.

Here are some ideas on how you could spend that money in Bismarck-Mandan!
