It's starting to feel like summer, we're spending more time outdoors at our local parks. --It's the best.

Another thing you have to do at least once a summer is visit the Red River Zoo. Bring the kids, heck, invite the whole family; grandma loves donkeys too.

If you haven't been to the Red River Zoo in a while, you might want to go pretty soon.

According to a post on the Red River Zoo Facebook page, they have a few new animals for you to see.

The post said the newest member of the Red River Zoo family are some Przewalski's horses. Don't ask me how to pronounce that, by the way.

If you're unfamiliar with this breed of horse, you might know it by another name; they're also called the "Takhi" Mongolian wild horse. You can easily spot one by looking at its mane. Their hair there is short and sticks straight up; it looks pretty cool, if you ask me.

Here, take a look.

According to the post, these horses are the last truly "wild" horse species on the planet. That's right, they're pretty rare.

These animals came dangerously close to becoming extinct, but after great efforts from conservationists, they are returning to their native habitats. Now, you can meet them, right here in Fargo, North Dakota.

According to the post, the new horses have settled into their pasture well. If you want to get a good look at them, check out their front pasture; that's where they spend the most time.

How exciting, right?! You will have to check out these magnificent creatures on your next visit and send us pics from your zoo adventure.
