FOX NETWORK-DELAYS NASCAR RACE

The longest race in the NASCAR schedule was RED FLAGGED at lap 123 during the Coca Cola 600.

A Fox camera cable broke and cars on the track ran over it.

Fox confirmed that the cable was from its camera cam that runs over the track.

Several cars ran over the cable, damaging the cars of Kyle Busch, who was leading the race, and Marcos Ambrose.

Ambrose had some of the cable underneath his car.

NASCAR stopped the race for at least 15 minute and FOX is checking to see if any spectators in Charlotte were injured.

Once the race started, the cars we're lined up in the order of where they once in before the red flag.

UPDATE 7:35 CST Fox is reporting 10 people injured. Most treated and released, and a few taken to the hospital for treatment.
