"Alright class, stand up and line up against the wall over there. We are going to play a fun game"

Well let's see, since we were indoors, I was pretty sure we weren't going to play dodge ball, so when does the "Part" kick in? This was my introduction to a spelling bee. I'm guessing I was in the 3rd grade, and all I remember is that I didn't have to stand up that long. For I was quickly eliminated by misspelling the word cat...." Sorry Bromo, it is not K A T". I'm sure you remember when you first participated in this tension-packed contest.

A superstar is somewhere out there waiting their turn to win the title

After a two-year absence, it's time to crown a champion. The 2022 North Dakota Spelling Bee returns after COVID put a halt to the competition. According to devilslakejournal.com "...the 2022 North Dakota State Spelling Bee Competition will be back in Bismarck on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Bismarck Event Center, 315 S 5th St" The ages are between the 4th and 8th grade.

94 students from across North Dakota will be representing their town and school

Miranda Streifel, NDACS Spelling Bee Coordinator had this to say "I’m so excited to watch these talented students compete and see which one will represent North Dakota at the 2022 Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C.” devilslakejournal.com reported. I mentioned earlier the word tension, this is the one thing you will notice on the kids' faces if you get a chance to watch this event in person. Good luck to all the North Dakota boys and girls at the 2022 North Dakota Spelling Bee.
