On Tuesday night (Sept. 12), celebrities across the United States came together for Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief. Broadcast live from Universal Studios in California, Times Square in New York City and Nashville's Grand Ole Opry House, a whole host of musicians, actors and other big names rallied to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
Blake Shelton hosted the Nashville Hand in Hand event, which featured performances by Shelton and Usher and by Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Demi Lovato and CeCe Winans. George Strait, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen also performed live from San Antonio, Texas.
In Nashville, the stars turned out to help answer phone calls from those watching the Hand in Hand telecast and wanting to donate. Readers can flip through the photo gallery above to see who was there, having fun while doing some serious good.
Since Hurricane Harvey hit Texas in late August, a number of country artists have stepped up to help raise money for and find other ways to support those affected. Artists are also doing what they can to help those in the Caribbean and Florida affected by Hurricane Irma.
